Who color is that?
Silas's new words in the last couple days include the eight canonical crayon colors and the name of one of our friends from Philly. The language explosion is a lot of fun, but can get pretty confusing. When Si asks me to draw a "big anin", I need him to repeat it a few times before I realize that he's talking about an airplane. It gets a little frustrating for him, but he is willing to practice and has me drill him on the crayon colors.Sometimes he gets them a bit mixed up, though:

Overwhelmed
This title could apply to so many things in our lives. For example, we are joyfully overwhelmed at Silas's new vocabulary which keeps us rolling in the aisles day and night (he talks in his sleep too). He says his own name now, but he pronounces it like "Spicy" without the "p".
But the title of this post refers specifically to the nearly 1000 photos from our holiday visits with friends and family. Daunting to go through them all, upload the highlights, caption at least a few of them... And so, we stall...

So in the meantime, have yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...

while you wait for "The 2008 Holiday Spectacular" post(s) with Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Great grandparents, Cousins, dogs, boats, swimming pools, Christmas presents, penguins, chickens, etc etc etc !!!!
